      If you are an experienced, collaborative, LTE network specialist in the Fort McMurray area, then this opportunity is for you. We are looking for an Incorporated and Senior Specialist for this 7+ month contract. Covering a small region, in and around Fort McMurray, you would be focusing on testing and maintenance of LTE networks plus Ethernet/IP routing and switching, DC power Plants, microwave radio and more. If you great amount of pride in your work, have a high attention to detail, and have a desire to continue to perfect your skills, you will be the perfect fit for this role.As a Wireless Field Operations – Senior Specialist, and incorporated contractor, you will have the chance to work with an incredible service provider on a contract starting at the end of November until June 30th, 2022. Advantages-A chance to put your skills in action with cutting edge technologies-Add a premium client to your incorporated portfolio-Lock down a long-term contract throughout the winter months through to next summer-Open doors for future contractsResponsibilities-Cover a region within 100km radius of Fort McMurray-Service and maintain a variety of telecommunications infrastructure and systems-Perform and communicate audits and reports-Be available for limited on-call emergency assignments-Observe and promote safe work practicesQualifications-You should be highly proficient testing, maintaining, and acceptance of LTE networks (Nokia LTE a benefit)-5+ years of practical in field experience-Achieved accreditation from a recognized telecommunications institution as an engineer, systems technician, or an equivalent position-You will need to be adept with equipment and tools such as BERT, spectrum analyzers and fiber optic tools-You must have a valid drivers license and service vehicle-At time of offer candidates may be asked to complete criminal background and credit checks, and provide proof of 2nd Covid-19 vaccinationSummaryWe can't wait to hear from you and help you take the next step towards your new role.
