    Our client in the outdoor supplies manufacturing space is looking for a Business Development Manager for its western territories. They would like this individual to be located in Interior BC.The ideal candidate is able to develop and hunt new business and is great with building relationships and fostering them.Advantages-hunt for new sales in given territory-drive sales and reach targets-make visits to customers and prospects-foster relationships-do follow up-keep up-to-date on product knowledge-forecast and communicate with the appropriate teams-attend and run trade shows , demos, and open houses-responsible for some marketing aspects-onboard and train new customers/dealers-perform any necessary customer service,; handle issues or complaintsResponsibilities-full time-permanent-$78,000-$82,000. annually-target bonus is 35% of base salary, paid out in instalments quarterly; bonus eligibility is based on achieving sales targets.-benefits are available after three months, and are entirely employer-paid; this includes health, dental, drug, etc-pension plan that the employee will join after one year of service; company contributes an amount and also matches the employee’s contributions at 50%-2 weeks of vacation per year-paid Christmas shutdown (approximately 5 additional paid days/year)Qualifications-3-5 years of outside sales experience; ideally B to B experience-experience in outdoor power equipment is considered an asset-independent self-starter who can work collaboratively when needed-strong presentation an verbal/written communication skills-organized, detail oriented, precise,-strong at execution and deliverySummaryTwo easy ways to apply:1.
