Complete benefits program, RRSP plan with match, gym membership reimbursement, and more to discussResponsibilitiesMaintain a small portfolio of accounts, contact these customers for payment and follow up, if needed, to ensure timely payments.Run credit bureau checks and prepare the credit files for new accounts, for the Credit Manager to review and approve.Maintain daily inquiries by emails, logs, and phone for the Credit Department.ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries, assist customers in the status of their account and move along or action any discrepancies that arise.Enter new accounts and any changes to existing accounts accurately onto the system.Provide divisional support to the Customer Service Representatives and Division Managers on credit and collection inquiries.Maintain the public inquiry email inbox for the Credit Department, forwarding any emails to the appropriate division/people.Send out credit letters for Divisions, as requested.Assist with yearly budget run and inquiries on the budget program.Act as back up for the Cash Application Coordinator, which will include processing deposits and clearing payments.QualificationsRelevant post-secondary education with diploma/degree in business, accounting or finance.2+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience in a fast paced, large volume, multi transaction & multi class of trade environment would be an advantage.SummaryLooking for someone with effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Advanced accuracy and attention to detail.
