AdvantagesCompetitive Salaryinsurance day1vacation in line with experiencepension contribution after 1 yrflexibility to work from home if you wishResponsibilitiesResponsible for the full payroll cycle from entry to termination and everything in between you will;•Process bi-monthly payroll for all salaried employees and process weekly payroll for all hourly employees in accordance with the rules and regulations;•Review all timesheets for completeness and accuracy, resolve any discrepancies with supervisors;•Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, pension, group insurance, and other deductions;•Ensure accurate processing of sick pay, benefits, vacation, termination payouts;•Reconcile payroll totals and ensure all deductions to government, credit unions, health benefit plans and pension plans are made as scheduled;•Create, update and maintain payroll profiles for all employees as advised by HR;•Ensure that all employees are categorized and allocated to correct cost centers;•Create and provide all required internal management reports from the payroll system;•Follow all payroll procedures for terminated employees;•Stay current with payroll regulations, standards and best practices;•Respond to employee and government agency inquiries in regards to payroll;•Ensure the creation and timely distribution of all relevant payroll information, including remittances, tax forms (T4, RL1, W2) and other required information;•Adhere to all policies and follow established procedures;•Support on payroll audits (government, pension and annual financial audits)•Perform other payroll, human resources and/or accounting duties as assigned.Qualifications•DEC or equivalent;•min 3 years of relevant working experience required;•Demonstrated knowledge of American (Va, Ky) and Canadian( QC-ONt) payroll and payroll tax laws ;••Experience working with Ceridian or ADPt;•Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mail required;•Clear written and verbal communications in both English and French requiredSummaryStill reading then this is clearly for you.
