      Our client who is one of the biggest suppliers for heavy equipment in the industry is looking for a general labourer/ helper who has knowledge and experience with hand tools and equipment, some building knowledge, has good attention to detail and is physically able to work in a fast-paced environmentLocation: Kanata areaThis is a permanent roleSalary is 20-21/hrShift: 7 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, weekly hours between – 46 – 50 hour work weeks (overtime will be paid) Advantages•All skill-related training will be provided onsite•Opportunity to work with one of the leaders in the industry•Clean, safe, and organized work environment•Permanent work opportunity •Free parkingResponsibilities•Repair smaller equipment on site•Install needed parts on small machines as they come in•Assisting the heavy equipment technicians with their repairs when needed•Picking material needed for repairs based on the job order•Perform Quality check of the equipment and parts•Report any •Cleaning their workspace •Other general labour tasks as needed onsiteQualifications•Must own his own set of tools which will be used for the role•Must have experience and comfort level using power tools and equipment•Experience in installation and assembly loves building things.•Experience in physical work and general labor•Able to work with measurements, drawings, and instructions•Able to work with a team•Must have a valid driver’s license•Experience in a machine or fabrication shop is a huge asset•Is comfortable lifting 50 – 70lbsSummaryIf this is a role you feel you will be qualified for, please apply asapHere are different ways to apply1.
