These positions are for 2nd shift (2PM - 10PM) and the starting rate is $18.52/hour plus $0.45 shift differential. This rate can increase to $19.59/ hour plus shift differential after a 90 probationary period. Upon hire, candidates will complete a pre-employment assessment, physical/drug test, and background check.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Operator, you will:• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner by following all company safety rules and procedures• Continuously improve set-up times and run efficiencies• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use problem solving skills to make quick decisions to improve production• Perform quality checks to ensure customer satisfaction• Maintain entire work area around machine to ensure it is kept neat and clean following 5S criteria• Maintain all necessary production records and reports and reviews manufacturing cards for variances• Report breakdowns, damages, and excess wear of production tools and equipment• Load and unload materials to and from machines as required• Lead production crew with integrity by being an example of an excellent employeeQualificationsA successful candidate will possess the following:• Excellent attendance and punctuality• Reliable transportation• Mechanical aptitude for production equipment• Mathematical aptitude• Basic troubleshooting skills• Familiarity with common tools• Basic computer skills to include data entry• Ability to learn and use basic measuring devices such as rulers• Ability to write and record information legibly• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions• Attention to detail• Self-starter• Strong work ethic• Performs basic troubleshooting on equipment.• Understands basic quality standards.
